As reported by Fabrizio Romano, PSG and 18-year-old prospect Xavi Simons are close to agreeing on a new deal to keep the Dutchman at the club next season.
Simons’ current contract is due to expire in the summer and it had been reported that the midfielder was considering an exit from the club due to lack of game time.
However, PSG are now prepared to up their initial offer to the player and, after increased prominence in the squad of late, the player is edging towards signing on for the long term in Paris.
