After The Match
I’m assuming Reigns wins via DQ, although no official ruling was ever made. I guess it could be a No Contest, although the interference was clearly on Orton’s behalf, so one would assume that would mean Reigns wins via DQ. Who knows though with the way WWE books finishes as of late.
Kane and Rollins and Orton put the boots to Reigns as the officials reach under the ring. The Authority members are calling for the cage to be lowered. Reigns starts fighting back, knocking Kane and Rollins out of the ring while the cage comes down. The cage is covering the ring now, however Reigns and Orton are the only two inside the ring. Reigns is beating up on Orton now. He hits Orton with The Spear and the B-More fans explode.
We see Kane trying to get through the door of the cage. Meanwhile, when Reigns turns around, Rollins is on top of the cage and he hits a big flying splash onto Reigns, up-staging Jericho’s splash from earlier tonight. Poor Jericho.
Anyways, Kane enters the scene now and joins in on the beat down of Reigns. Kane slams Reigns’ head into the cage over and over again as we see Orton with a steel chair.
Orton starts beating down Reigns with the chair in ruthless fashion, literally hitting him with it over and over and over again. Orton yells and taunts Reigns as he continues to beat down Reigns with the chair.
“The Viper” continues his attack with the chair and then sets the chair under Reigns’ face and he tells Rollins to do his thing. Rollins yells at Reigns and tells him “he made him” over and over again and then says “now I’m going to destroy you.” The fans chant “you sold out” at Rollins as he hits the ropes and comes off with a big Curb Stomp onto Reigns’ face, which smashes directly into the steel chair that Orton set up for him.
Rollins’ theme hits as replays are shown of how the end of the match went down, including all of the post-match drama with The Authority beat down of Reigns. From there, we see The Authority guys, Rollins, Orton and Kane all celebrating in the ring over a beaten down Roman Reigns. The “season premiere” of RAW goes off of the air on that note.
