As seen on SmackDown Live last night, the Blue brand is going back to the well of friends turning on each other. Shortly after Becky Lynch turned on her friend, Charlotte Flair, and took the SmackDown Women’s Championship from her at Hell in a Cell, Aiden English is seemingly getting ready to turn heel against his best friend, Rusev. Not only did Tuesday’s show play up the angle before Rusev took on United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, but the two sides continued to stoke the fire Wednesday on Twitter.
English looks to be starting his own movement, tweeting out pics of shirts emblazoned with the slogan “Happy Aiden Day” as seen here:
