WCPW to become Defiant Wrestling

It was announced during today’s weekly WCPW Loaded episode that beginning in December, WCPW will be relaunched as Defiant Wrestling and that the new onscreen General Manager will be Stu Bennett (The former Wade Barrett).
WCPW launched last year with its Refuse to Lose pay per view show and one year later, the 2017 Refuse to Lose event will be the company’s last under the WCPW name and that the company will relaunch on December 4 with the WeAreDefiant show from the O2 arena.
Although the details are not being announced, it is being figured the former WCPW is separating from the WhatCulture website. It was announced that Defiant Wrestling will be running a new separate streaming service, Access Defiant, which will be launched just before the event in December. The current Whatculture Extra service will begin to incorporate more website content. It was also announced that it’s weekly show Loaded will film its final episodes in early October. It has not been announced if a new show will be filmed to take its place or if it will have the Youtube presence that the company currently has.

WCPW was the recent talk of fans when several on-air hosts for Whatculture announced they were leaving, Adam Blampied, Adam Pacetti, Jack the Jobber, and King Ross all announced they were leaving Whatculture to start their own project, rumored to be called Cultureholics. Blampied was the on-screen General Manager of WCPW and it was announced he had stepped down with him leaving the site.
It is not known as of yet if those who left Whatculture are going to be involved in any way with the new Defiant Wrestling.
