One of the biggest ongoing threads on dirt sheets over the past few years is when Terry “Hulk Hogan” Bollea will be welcomed back to the WWE. The once-beloved iconic hero of the promotion during the 1980s and iconic baddie of WCW as nWo leader “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan in the 1990s fell out favor with the promotion with controversies over a released sex tape, a very public legal battle with Gawker and racial slurs made by one of wrestling’s most recognizable performers.
Rumors have been swirling that Hogan is close to returning to the WWE, and The Hulkster seemed to fan some of those flames recently by tweeting that he could help put WWE NXT star Velveteen Dream over the top as his manager. However, the rising star rebuffed Hogan publicly with a diss on Twitter:
