It was previously reported that a new match was added and confirmed for Sunday’s PPV. It is going to be Braun Strowman & Bobby Lashley facing Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn. Backlash is the first dual branded PPV after WWE announced earlier this year that they would be abandoning the idea of alternating single branded events. Backlash takes place this Sunday from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Below is the current card for this Sunday’s Backlash PPV:

As you may have noticed, the United States Title Match between United States Champion Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton, which appeared to be confirmed by WWE at one point, is no longer listed as an official match at WWE.com. However, reports seem to suggest that the United States Title will still be up for grabs either in the same match or a Triple Threat Match that would also include Shelton Benjamin.
