— According to video game website www.1up.com, Warner Bros. is interested in acquiring TNA video game licensee Midway Games, which has had some well documented financial issues for quite some time.

The company is interested in paying up to $30 million to acquire the Midway, which also maintains licenses for Spongebob Squarepants, Mortal Kombat and Wheelman.

The sequel to TNA iMPACT is already in development, although its release hinges on the future of Midway.
