Earlier in the week, while attending an anti-bullying event benefiting the Boys & Girls Club in Memphis, Lana and Rusev reportedly had items that were stolen from their hotel room.
According to the report, the pair left their room at approximately 12:30 PM and when they returned only 40 minutes later, “multiple things” were gone including Rusev’s wallet which contained $500 in cash and Lana’s digital camera. They reported the theft to hotel security and were told that they shouldn’t have left valuables in their hotel room even though they also hung the “do not disturb” sign on their door.
The Fox affiliate in Memphis has an update on the story by saying that the police are investigating and that the cleaning lady is considered one of the suspects. The story gets more bizarre as the woman has reportedly already returned the wallet but claiming that she found it in the trash inside a chicken box. The money was also said to be gone and the camera still remains to be missing as well so Rusev is “prosecuting” according to his Twitter, as seen below:
