The Israeli military has said it launched airstrikes into Gaza in response to a Palestinian sniper wounding two Israeli troops. Militants have fired about 600 rockets toward Israel as of Sunday, with Israel launching 260 airstrikes in response, according to the Israeli Defense Forces. At least four Israelis and 20 Palestinians have died thus far and Hamas has reportedly called for a ceasefire.
