According to PWInsider.com, a new biopic on the life of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is in the works, and an Oscar nominated actor has been offered the role of “Mr. McMahon”.
Four-time Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper has reportedly been offered the role of Vince, and the PWInsider report adds the producers want an A-List celebrity attached to the project in order to give the film more “legitimacy”.

The script for the McMahon biopic was penned back in 2015, however WWE Studios came onboard shortly after and the script underwent heavy rewrites.
While playing Vince McMahon will be new to Bradley Cooper, should he accept the role, which as of this writing he has yet to do, Cooper is no stranger to WWE as he previously appeared on Raw to promote his movie “The A-Team”. Talks between Cooper and WWE regarding the Vince McMahon movie reportedly began when Cooper appeared on Raw.
Cooper has several films currently in production, including a remake of the classic film “A Star is Born”, and a reprisal of the role of Rocket Raccoon in the upcoming “Avengers: Infinity War” film.
