According to L’Équipe, Premier League side Stoke City are ready to offer €25m to sign French central midfielder Giannelli Imbula from FC Porto.
The problem is that the Portuguese side want more than the aforementioned amount for the player, but the report is confident that a compromise can be made.
Aston Villa, West Brom and Sunderland have all positioned themselves for the player who has struggled in Portugal since his move from Marseille last summer.
However, Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is the only individual from an interested party to speak directly with Giannelli Imbula about a possible move.
