Ligue 1 21/22, Round 30 – 3/4/22
PSG – 5 (Neymar 12, 90, Mbappé 28, 67, Messi 73)
Gianluigi Donnarumma, 5
Achraf Hakimi, 4
Presnel Kimpembe, 5
Marquinhos, 5
Nuno Mendes, 6
Idrissa Gana Gueye, 5
Danilo Pereira, 6
Leandro Paredes, 5
Kylian Mbappé, 9 – Involved in all five goals, scoring two of them via gloriously exacting low finishes and assisting the other three – most notably through one of many jinking yet flying dribbles which set up Messi to fire home the fourth. Is there a better player in the world right now? Unplayable.
Neymar, 8 – This was the more focused, match-winning version of Neymar. Although his passing wasn’t always on point, it was sublime at times – a dipping first-half cross for Messi deserved to result in a goal. He stroked home the first and scored a brilliant fifth after some midfield trickery.
Lionel Messi, 6 – Not far from a 7 despite a relatively laboured first-half display. He calmly and precisely rounded off the move for the fourth and showed a sprinkling of his classic turning and dribbling ability from deeper positions as the game wore on.
Others: Ramos 5, Wijnaldum 5, Kehrer 5.
LORIENT – 1 (Moffi 56)
Matthieu Dreyer, 3
Vincent Le Goff, 4
Léo Pétrot, 3
Julien Laporte, 3
Houboulang Mendes, 3
Laurent Abergel, 5 – Although he might have used the ball with more consideration at times, he worked extremely hard overall and managed 17 defensive actions including 14 of Lorient’s 45 tackles and interceptions. No one else looked like they belonged in Ligue 1.
Thomas Monconduit, 3
Enzo Le Fée, 4
Ibrahima Koné, 2
Terem Moffi, 4
Dango Ouattara, 2
Others Silva 5, Boisgard 5, Lemoine 5, Soumano 4, Lauriente 5.
