National Enquirer alleges possible perjury charge against Hogan

The National Enquirer today in a sensationalistic story claimed Hulk Hogan could be put in jail for perjury.

While that is a stretch, the story claims that court transcripts show that Terry Bollea allegedly made conflicting statements to the FBI and in deposition to lawers for Gawker.com.

The Enquirer claimed transcripts they had obtained showed that during a July 2 hearing, Gawker attorney Seth Berlin told the judge he had learned Hogan made statements under oath directly at odds with each other.

The story is filled with a lot of ifs and there doesn’t appear to be anything imminent at this point. It had been reported about certain contradictory testimony Hogan had made previously and the story mostly rehashes previously released news.
