— WWE has announced the first King of the Ring matches to take place next week on both Raw and Smackdown. On Monday night, Cesaro will battle Samoa Joe and Sami Zayn will wrestle Cedric Alexander. The other two matches – Ricochet vs. Drew McIntyre and The Miz vs. Baron Corbin are likely to take place the week after.

— Over on Smackdown on Tuesday, Kevin Owens vs. Elias is one of two King of the Ring first round matches with the other seeing Andrade take on Apollo Crews. The remaining two matches on the Smackdown side would also presumably be taking place the week after. Those matches would be Ali vs. Buddy Murphy and Chad Gable vs. Shelton Benjamin.
