More On How WWE Kept Ronda Rousey Hidden at Royal Rumble
As we noted earlier today, WWE went to great lengths to keep Ronda Rousey’s surprise debut at the Royal Rumble a secret, and PWInsider.com notes Rousey was not listed on any production sheets for the show and was not seen in the building until about 10 minutes before her debut.
I was in attendance for the event last night, and was told prior to the show by security that Rousey’s tour bus had shown up minutes before the Royal Rumble Kickoff show took place, and was parked away from the other WWE tour and production busses and trucks. It’s likely Rousey was kept in her tour bus until she made her way into the building just moments before her debut.
Ric Flair Wins KFC ‘Rumble’ Match
WWE filmed a KFC “Rumble” match at a recent Smackdown taping prior to the Royal Rumble PPV last night, and the bout featured stars such as The Miz, Mojo Rawley, Breezango and more all dressed as “The Colonel”. The match was won by WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, and you can watch highlights in the video below.

Alicia Fox Note
As noted, Alicia Fox was pulled from the Women’s Royal Rumble match last night due to injury, and it looks like she is also out of the WWE Mixed Match Challenge as her partner Goldust Tweeted the following:
