Monaco looking at Benoît Badiashile replacements

Our colleagues at Foot Mercato report that Ligue 1 side Monaco are quietly looking for potential replacements in the event that 20-year-old defender Benoît Badiashile exits the club this month.

Newcastle United and West Ham United continue to hold talks for the player, despite him recently suffering an injury that may keep him out of action for 5 weeks.

New Monaco boss Philippe Clément has identified 22-year-old defender Stanley Nsoki as a possible replacement.

Nsoki hit it off with Clement at Club Brugge this season after a summer transfer from OGC Nice. Nsoki is currently under contract with the Belgian outfit until June 2025.
