Mining Operation: Doctors Remove 856 Stones From Patient’s Kidney At One Go

Doctors at Delhi’s Fortis Hospital said they removed 856 stones from the left kidney of a 45-year-old patient at one go, using minimally invasive surgical techniques. The patient was brought to the hospital when he noticed blood in his urine. The ultrasound showed the presence of two large stones in his kidney.

“The patient had a history of stones in the left kidney and was first operated in 2007.
