MAJOR Impact Departures Taking Place Soon, New WWE Signing

Several wrestling stars are rumored to be hopping over to WWE very soon, and one of those rumored names has been longtime Impact Wrestling performer Ethan Carter III. Carter has achieved several different accomplishments during his time with Impact Wrestling, which includes holding the company’s top title, but his rumored upcoming departure is reportedly due to the promotion cutting names with big contracts. Ethan Carter III’s Impact deal was set to expire in the summer, but PWInsider has reported that Carter has been granted an early release from the promotion. He will be finishing up with the company after tonight’s TV tapings conclude.
Ethan Carter III is not the only member of the Impact roster who is reportedly finishing up his time with the company soon. Impact Wrestling has seen a long string of departures take place over the past year. This is reportedly due to budgetary reasons. The latest name to join the list is Chris Adonis. Adonis, who previously competed as Chris Masters in WWE, debuted in Impact Wrestling last year. He was recently paired up with Eli Drake during his world title reign. Adonis took to Twitter earlier today to officially announce that he is no longer a member of the Impact roster. He thanked top Impact personalities Ed Nordholm, Sonjay Dutt, and Scott D’Amore for all that they have done for him.

I have to announce my departure from Impact Wrestling.
Thank you to @sonjaydutterson @EdNordholm & @ScottDAmore
