Lyon have released a press statement this evening, announcing their decision to donate €300,000 to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, through their charitable arm, OL Fondation.
The funds will be split, with €100k being put towards two clinical research projects that are currently being carried out by the Hopices Civils de Lyon.
The club will be providing an additional €200k which will finance “the emergency needs of our local authorities in materials and equipment for the hospital and to help the poorest.”
