Strasbourg president Marc Keller revealed on Tuesday that Ludovic Ajorque (28) and Alexander Djiku (27) have been given “exit passes” from the club and could leave this summer.
Speaking in an interview with Dernières Nouvelles d’Alsace, Keller said, “Ajorque has been with us for four years and has progressed a lot here. We are very happy with him as a player and as a person. He has always behaved in an exemplary manner but after all this time, he may be questioning whether he needs a new challenge. He hasn’t made a definitive decision.”

He continued, “We hope to keep him, but if he wants to leave and if a big offer is formulated, we will talk about it.”
Although the circumstances are different, the outcome is the same for Djiku. The defender has been offered an extension to his contract, which is set to expire next summer but is “thinking about it” according to president Keller. “Just as it is with Ludo (Ajorque), with Alex we’re in a waiting game. If they are to leave naturally, they’ll be replaced. It’s part of the life of a club.”
Ajorque in particular enjoyed an impressive season, scoring 12 goals and registering 8 assists in Ligue 1 during a campaign where Strasbourg finished sixth. Lille have been touted as a possible destination for the French striker.
