The Captain of INS Satpura,Alok Ananda, headed to the distress location in the South Indian Ocean where Commander Abhilash Tomy was stranded after being dismantled by harsh weather, despite losing his father the same day.
The INS Satpura Captain was also a part of the Golden Globe Race 2018, and put duty above everything despite going through a period of personal tragedy.
