Marseille attacking midfielder Florian Thauvin was the victim of a horrible attack in Marseille at around 7pm local time last night, according to La Provence.
Two men on motorbikes deliberately crashed into his car, forced him out of it in order to attack him and steal valuables from him.
The player’s watch was worth an estimated €25,000 and was apparently targeted by the criminals. Thauvin was strangled from behind by one of the two men. Thauvin defended himself and managed to escape the two men, before taking refuge in a nearby building.
