WWE has announced the first ever “Women’s Championship Showcase” for tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw. For the first time in history, the Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will team up with Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley to take on the current reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.
This should be an interesting tag team match, for a multitude of reasons. With so many champions all in the same place at the same time, the propensity for things to spiral out of control is high.

Lynch is scheduled to defend her title against Sasha Banks at Clash of Champions, while Bayley squares off against old rival Charlotte Flair – and who knows what collection of WWE Superstars might come calling for the tag team titles.
There’s also the Natalya factor to consider. The Canadian veteran has been attacked twice now by Banks, leading up to last week’s chaotic pull-apart. Given that their beef has been intertwined with Becky and the title, we expect this one to get out of hand.
