Le Parisien report that Portuguese giants FC Porto will make a renewed offer for German international goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, after having an opening bid worth around €6m knocked back by PSG.
Eintracht Frankfurt, where Trapp spent last season on loan, also want to acquire the German shot-stopper, with the club’s Sporting Director Fredi Bobic telling Sport1:
“We have had discussions with PSG on numerous occasions, it went well. They have their opinions, Leonardo has his own on whether or not a goalkeeper should be sold, on whether or not Kevin will be #1… They do not know exactly what they will do with Kevin. We want him, yes. But at the same time, we’ve already spent €30m. But I am confident. We are patient, we are calm, we are going to continue to speak with selling clubs.”
FCP are hoping to fight this competition off, by making a renewed bid in the coming hours. A decision will be made on the German’s future in the coming days.
