Dustin Rhodes is looking to enter the All Elite Wrestling tag team.
Speaking to members of the press on Saturday night following the promotion’s Revolution pay-per-view in Chicago, the veteran performer expressed his frustration after a loss to Jake Hager – the man who, in story, broke his arm in a car door – earlier in the evening.
Rhodes then confirmed that he will be partnering with QT Marshall, a fellow member of the Nightmare Family and an Associate Producer behind the scenes in AEW. The two recently worked a tag team match on the 2/19 taping of DARK, defeating Shawn Spears and Peter Avalon.
At 50-years-old, Dustin is also thinking about his health after more than three decades in the ring. “It’s going to help my body tremendously and QT is the right man. He’s tough, he’s been in the business a long time. And I think he deserves a shot.”
It was also revealed that Brandi Rhodes, who Dustin referred to as their “secret weapon”, will be working with the team as a manager.
