205 Live headliner Cruiserweight Champ Buddy Murphy candidly reviewed his 2018 in a social media post Monday. He honestly said he felt like he might be released, but received an opportunity with his move to 205 Live and he ran with it.
Murphy criticized WWE last week for not being included in a graphic posted on social media promoting breakout stars of 2018. He had a point. Murphy, Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali and several others in the Cruiserweight division have stolen the show at times during pay per views and had a handful of matches listed among the Top 25 matches of the year on the WWE list. Just when you thought you made a impact! Leaving it all in the ring, match after match! Having 70,000 ppl chant your name! Becoming the greatest cruiserweight champ in history! I guess I’m still the worlds #BestKeptSecret @WWE pic.twitter.com/zY2j0jHNen
