Austin & Rock Exchange Tweets Over How The Rock Sold The Stunner

WWE Hall Of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin & WWE Legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are two of the biggest Superstars in the history of Professional Wrestling. Their feud in The WWE is considered by many as one of the greatest, if not the greatest feud ever in the history of the business. In one of the matches they had over the course of their feud, The Rock received A Stone Cold Stunner that was believed to be over sold. Just recently, Stone Cold & The Rock had a Twitter exchange on The Stunner that was believed to be over sold, as seen in the tweets below:
The tweets between the former rivals began when Austin responded to a tweet that said a GIF of The Rock taking The Stunner was “overselling at its finest.”
Austin joked, “That was not overselling. The Stunner is a complete shoot. Very painful..”

The Rock then responded to Austin’s tweet and joked that he never “oversold” the move, he just refused to “underserve” the fans. Rock wrote, “Haha I never “oversold” Austin’s stunner. I simply refused to “underserve” the ticket paying audience. Gotta give ’em their monies worth every night and send ’em home happy. Plus, Austin & I had cold beer waiting in the locker room so that was my ‘happy dance’ #GoodTimes”
