Gianluca Di Marzio reports tonight that Marseille have today made an offer for Fiorentina right-back Pol Lirola, who spent the second half of last season on loan with the club.
Nevertheless, Serie A side Atalanta have also entered the race for the Spanish defender, with wing-back Hans Hateboer out with a long-term injury.
OM have been in constant talks with La Viola for the last month, but are yet to come to a definitive agreement to bring Lirola back to the Vélodrome. Fabrizio Romano adds that the defender is Marseille’s priority, and the player himself is looking to make a return to the club.
