Over the course of the past few weeks, many names have departed Impact Wrestling, including Rockstar Spud, Jeff Jarrett, and James Storm.
According to PWInsider.com, Mahabali Shera is the latest talent to leave Impact Wrestling, and while news of Shera’s release is just now being reported, his departure actually took place a couple months ago.
In related news, Swoggle’s name has been removed from the Impact roster page, however PWInsider noted he was never under contract with Impact to begin with.

As for the current situation in the Impact offices, no one in the Nashville offices have been informed of their futures, however the belief is the offices could be completely closed, and folded into Anthem’s Toronto offices, by December 1st.
On a final note, two title changes took place during the Impact Wrestling tapings in Ottawa following Bound for Glory, and they are as follows:
-Matt Sydal defeated EC3 to win the Grand Championship
-Taiji Ishimori from Pro Wrestling NOAH won the X-Division Championship
As we noted following Bound for Glory, the Impact tapings which took place in Ottawa following the PPV will carry Impact Wrestling through January of 2018, so as of now the status of many of the top Impact talents is in doubt. As was the case with James Storm, he finished up with Impact following the Canada tapings and his contract with Impact will officially expire in January.
