According to PWInsider.com’s Marc Middleton, Braun Strowman will soon return to the squared circle.
Middleton reported that Strowman received medical clearance for in-ring action last week, and will return to WWE TV once creative plans are finalized. WWE announced Strowman’s elbow injury in May and reported at that time that he would miss 6 months.
Strowman was written off WWE programming after getting attacked by Roman Reigns on Raw.
Strowman had previously defeated Reigns at Payback and attempted to put him out of commission by attacking him after the match. However, the Monster Among Men hit his elbow on an ambulance door and landed on the shelf.
At the time of Strowman’s injury, it was widely expected that he was in line to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at Great Balls of Fire.
That honor instead went to Samoa Joe, but after Strowman finishes his rivalry with Reigns, he may very well be in line for a title shot as early as SummerSlam in August.
