Rusev is currently enjoying a run in the Smackdown tag team division with Aiden English. The pairing may have seem mismatched at first, but the two of them have been quite entertaining together thus far. After scoring some fantastic crowd reactions and merchandise sales, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed that Rusev could be in line for a push as the months go on. The report suggests that Rusev could be turning babyface soon in response to the crowd reactions that he has been receiving as of late. “The Bulgarian Brute” is also rumored be challenging someone for the United States Championship at some point later on this year.
The Miz has been on quite a roll in recent years. He has had a career renaissance in WWE over the past few years as he has worked alongside his wife Maryse, as well as Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. The Miz has become synonymous with the Intercontinental Championship, and he lost the title to Roman Reigns before taking a few weeks off from the ring to film The Marine 6. Cageside Seats now reports that the plan is for The Miz to compete for the title again once he returns. Now that we now that Roman Reigns is still the champion, it definitely looks as though Miz could be starting a feud with Reigns as soon as next week.
Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson managed to revive classic tag team wrestling in NXT, thus earning them the name The Revival. Both men were called up to the main roster as part of the Raw brand earlier this year, but both of them have been plagued by injuries ever since. Injuries to Wilder and Dawson have managed to keep both of them out of action for a while now. Although the team recently returned to Raw, they have not appeared on television in several weeks now. Unsurprisingly, Cageside Seats reported recently that WWE has no plans for The Revival at the moment. Despite this, both men are said to be healthy and injury-free at the moment.
