A day after Diwali when the airport rush is at its peak since people travel back to their offices, Air India employees went on a strike that created havoc at the Mumbai airport.
However, different reasons are doing the rounds as to why the employees went on strike. While PTI reported that Air India contractual ground staff went on strike because they didn’t receive Diwali bonuses, India Today claimed that employees have been protesting over a demand that a colleague who was recently sacked by the airline be given his job back.
There were long delays in both domestic and international flights as miffed passengers took to micro-blogging site, Twitter expressing their displeasure over the unprecedented delays. The airline had to call permanent employees who were on off-duty to deal with the chaos.Click Here: Real bape hoodie
