10 Women Workers Buried Alive Under Eight Feet Mound Of Mud In Telangana

Ten women were buried alive when loose soil and boulders fell on them while they were taking rest after working at an agricultural field. The incident took place at Teeleru village of Marikal mandal in Narayanpet district on Wednesday afternoon.

The women were working under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) scheme, engaged for digging earth as part of trench work, a senior district official told PTI.

Eye-witnesses told that a mound of earth fell on them and they were buried under six to eight feet of mud. Ten women died and one was injured while another woman managed to come out safely, according to the official.Click Here: liverpool mens jersey
