In an exclusive interview with RMC, France boss Didier Deschamps reflected on Anthony Martial record-breaking move to Manchester United:
“Did he have a choice? Manchester United offered an incredible sum (of money), he did not go for nothing. I picked him before he went there. He has a very interesting potential. Today, he has stages to overcome and he will have to do so quite quickly because Manchester is not Monaco, where he was guaranteed a certain amount of playing time. It is a choice. Manchester are counting on him, he is young.”
