Her tweet comes a day after Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R) signed legislation that outlaws all abortions except in cases where the mother’s life is in danger. Twitter users have called out the state’s largely white and male lawmakers for their votes to pass the bill.

Missouri’s state Senate Thursday passed a bill banning abortions at eight weeks of pregnancy except for in medical emergencies. Several other states have also recently passed or advanced “heartbeat” that would ban abortion as early as six weeks into pregnancy.
