Cash-strapped Lille are seeking to raise about €25m in cash after being told by French football financial watchdog the DNCG to do so or potentially face automatic relegation from Ligue 1 due to financial irregularities.

The 20-year-old will remain on loan at Strasbourg until the end of the current campaign, even if Lyon, which is the player’s preferred destination, would buy him this month.
