Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais have confirmed this evening that French international central midfielder Steven N’Zonzi’s loan spell with the Brittany side has been an extended by another 12 months.
N’Zonzi joined on loan from AS Roma in January, with a provision in his contract that such an agreement would be extended if the club qualified for the Champions’ League, which it has done through today’s announcement that the 2019/20 campaign is officially over with SRFC placing 3rd.
