L’Équipe report that young Lyon goalkeeper Kayne Bonnevie is set to renew his contract with the club ahead of a probable loan spell next season.
The 20-year-old will go out on loan either to Ligue 2 or the third-tier, with former youth academy graduate Rémy Riou returning to the club at 34 to act as 3rd choice goalkeeper, signing a two-year deal.
Riou will be both a registered player and a mentor for the younger goalkeepers, unless second-choice Julian Pollersbeck decides to leave.
Bonnevie will sign a two-year extension, while first-choice Anthony Lopes is also expected to renew his contract at the end of the season, with his current deal expiring in 2023.
