L’Équipe report this afternoon that out-of-favour Marseille full-back Jordan Amavi has been the subject of interest from Dinamo Zagreb, but the former Aston Villa man has turned down the move.

The Croatian side had identified the Frenchman as a potential signing should they qualify for the Champions League group stages – they face Bodø/Glimt in the playoffs and are 1-0 down after the first leg.
OM, though, are pushing for the player to leave, given he is not in new manager Igor Tudor’s plans and is currently training separately from the rest of the team. He remains under contract with last year’s Ligue 1 runners-up for another three seasons
The 28-year-old is still waiting for a satisfactory solution, given that he was not convinced by Dinamo Zagreb’s project. Amavi spent the latter half of last season out on loan at formative club Nice, having made just the two appearances in the league for Marseille in the first six months of the campaign.
