This week’s episode of WWE NXT saw a major return, as Bobby Fish made a surprise appearance assisting his brothers in the Undisputed Era during their defense of the NXT Tag Team Championships.
Fish was injured back in March tearing both his ACL and MCL, requiring a surgery that has kept him out of action for the past seven-and-a-half months. While he still made occasional backstage appearances and cut promos to stay in the back of people’s minds, this was the first time he got involved physically, attacking the War Raiders with a steel chair.
We can officially confirm that Fish has been cleared by WWE officials to return to the ring. At Wednesday night’s NXT television taping event at Full Sail University, Fish was involved in several segments with the Undisputed Era and was announced for a major match at the upcoming NXT Takeover: WarGames II special during Survivor Series weekend.
