It looks like the Viking Experience has come to an abrupt end at the hands of the self-proclaimed “Monday Night Messiah” Seth Rollins and the newest addition to his flock, Buddy Murphy.
The two defeated the Viking Raiders on Monday Night Raw this week to become the new Raw Tag Team Champions, even after Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe came out to even the odds and chase off the Authors of Pain.
This is Murphy’s first WWE title win since his reign as Cruiserweight Champion, although Monday Night Rollins has had a bit more experience in that area. The Kingslayer is now a 6-time Raw Tag Team Champion with 5 different partners; Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Jason Jordan, Braun Strowman, and now Murphy.
This is certainly an interesting and unexpected development just a few days before the annual WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view, where both of the new champions are scheduled to compete.
