Caen will be aiming to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat as they face an out-of-sorts Lyon at the Stade Michel d’Ornano. The hosts won their opening two league fixtures, but fell to a 2-1 loss away to Nice in their most recent outing. However, manager Patrice Garande will be hopeful his side can get back to winning ways against a team they have beaten in each of their last meetings on home turf.

Lyon, meanwhile, have made a stuttering start to the new campaign, recording one win, one draw and one defeat in their opening three league fixtures. The defeat came last weekend at home to Rennes and manager Hubert Fournier knows his team need to find some form quickly if they are to have any chance of mounting a title challenge this season.
